Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and AI with AK - F.Z.E, a Free Zone Establishment registered in Ajman Free Zone, United Arab Emirates, under licence number 53926. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that company. They govern your use of Nougat, a personal knowledge tool available at nougatbase.com and through the Nougat apps. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Nougat.

The service

Nougat captures content you save, such as X bookmarks and browser tabs, and analyzes it into notes, resources, and tasks that you can review and search. Nougat is offered on an invite-only basis. It may change, and features may be added or removed over time.

Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to use Nougat.
• Access is invite-only. You need a valid invite to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Nougat for anything unlawful or to infringe anyone's rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems.
• Save or upload content that you do not have the right to store and process.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you capture. You grant us the permission needed to store, process, and display that content so we can provide the service, including sending it to the third-party AI providers described in our Privacy Policy for analysis. You are responsible for the content you save and for having the right to save it.

Third-party services

Nougat connects to services such as Google for sign-in and X for bookmark sync. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

Availability

Nougat is provided on a best-effort basis with no guarantee of uptime, availability, or that your data will always be preserved. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. You are encouraged to keep your own copies of anything important, and Nougat provides an export option for this.

Disclaimer

Nougat is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI with AK - F.Z.E will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Nougat is currently provided free of charge, and where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to five hundred UAE dirhams (AED 500).

Termination

You may stop using Nougat at any time and request deletion of your account. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or misuse the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Ajman, without regard to conflict of law rules. The courts of the Emirate of Ajman have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or from your use of Nougat. Nothing here removes any right you may have under mandatory consumer protection law in your own country of residence, including the right to bring a claim there.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Nougat after a change means you accept the updated terms.
